Amy Lynn Meyers, 43, of Pendleton and former Indianapolis resident, passed away, May 14, 2017. She was born July 31, 1973 in Indianapolis and was a Pendleton resident since 2003. Amy was a 1991 graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis and attended Butler University. She was employed in the accounting department of Bright Sheet Metal Co., Inc. for several years.Amy especially loved children and animals.Survivors include her mother, Sharen M. (Courter) Meyers; brother, Hank (Jayma) Meyers; nieces and nephew, Allysen Paige, Olivia Grace and Luke Philip Meyers; grandmother, Ada (Rumsey) Courter; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by father, Philip H. Meyers; grandfather, Benjamin Courter; and grandparents, James Marlin “Docky” and Lillian (Hoff) Meyers.At the family’s request, private visitation and services will be held with entombment at Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Children’s TherAplay, 9919 Towne Rd., Carmel, IN 46032.

Words can not express how sorry I am to hear about Amy. I have thought about her often throughout the years with happy memories and nostalgia. She was a very special friend, sister and daughter. My thoughts are with you, her family, at this very sad time.

Saddened to hear of Amy's passing. We've lost touch since our high school days but I always considered Amy to be a good friend and will always cherish the time spent together. I know many people are sorry to see Amy leave us, prayers to Amy's family, she will be missed.

Sharen, we grieve with you. Our hearts are torn asunder but nothing like a mothers heartbroken agony.

I was so sorry to hear of Amy's passing. She was such a kind, loving young lady - an all around beautiful person. I was blessed to have met Amy and always enjoyed hearing of her love for animals.
