Anny Ruth Saunders

Anny Ruth Saunders, of Anderson passed away on May 18, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.  She was born on September 15, 1928 in Hancock County, Tennessee to the late Morgan and Carrie (Moore) Brewer.

Ruth was a homemaker.  She was a wonderful mother and enjoyed taking her children to various activities.  She also enjoyed camping, square dancing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, canning, flowers, cooking and baking.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Ken Saunders of Anderson; children, Tony Saunders of Pendleton, Sheila Saunders of Santa Clara, California; grandchildren, Andrew Cyrus of San Jose, California, Casey Cyrus of Santa Clara, California; sister, Margaret Brewer of Anderson; sister in-law, Allie Brewer of Nashville, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and sisters and several aunts and uncles.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ovid.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
