Bernice B Miller, 92 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in St. Elizabeth Central Hospital, Lafayette. She was born November 24, 1917 in Boone County, IN, daughter of the late David H. and Delia Pearl Booher Emmert. She was a member of Women’s Society of the First Baptist Church, Lizton. She worked as a cook for Grandville Wells Elementary School. She also worked as a typesetter for the Ladoga Leader newspaper. Bernice loved her boys and her family. She enjoyed gardening of both flowers and vegetables. She also loved all farm animals, especially the young animals. Surviving are sons, Don Miller and Harry David “Sonny” Miller, both of Jamestown, sister, Kathleen Long, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Miller, son, Eddie Miller and 4 sisters. Friends will be received Saturday, September 25, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services immediately following at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Rader. Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
