Conathan “Sue” (Kainz) Garske, 65, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away March 20, 2015. Sue was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, to John and Annette Kainz. Sue lived in Aniwa, Wisconsin, attended grade school in Aniwa and graduated high school in Antigo in 1967. Sue and her husband, Jerome, were married for 42 years and had two children: Johnna (Robert) Clements and Michael Garske; and six grandchildren: Heather, Morgan, Max, Jared, Noah, and Jonathan. Sue is also survived by her sister Royce (Ken) King, brothers Thom (Rockie) Kainz and Rick (Cindy) Kainz, and many friends and family members. Sue resided in Wausau, Wisconsin, and she worked at Fitzgerald Cleaners and Colonial Manor Nursing Home for many years. After moving to Greenwood, Indiana, in 2003, Sue was a substitute teacher at Franklin Community High School and helped raise her grandsons, Jared and Jonathan. Sue loved to travel, laugh and enjoy a glass of wine. Sue fought a great battle against cancer for 5 years, never complaining and not wearing an itchy wig. Sue’s cremains will be scattered in the Hawaiian Islands at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care in Indianapolis.
