Connie M. Calvert

Connie M. Calvert, 78, of Markleville, IN passed away on July 23, 2022 in Anderson, IN. She was born on April 16, 1944 in Ingalls, IN to the late Harold “Pinky” and Eileen (Rummel) Baer. Connie married her husband, Mike Calvert, on June 12, 1965. She worked for Guide Lamp/General Motors for 9 years, from 1963-1972. Connie loved golfing and crafting, especially with wood. She enjoyed cooking and vacationing on Dale Hollow Lake in a houseboat. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Connie will be dearly missed by her husband of 57 years, Mike; her sons, Brad (Stephanie) Calvert and Steve (Jamie) Calvert; her grandchildren, Valerie (Clayton) Lone, Candy (Josh) Norris, Shante (Michael) Haines, Mikey (Caitlyn) Calvert, and Chelsea Calvert; her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Preslee, Tyleigh, Coy, Ruby, and Anisten; her sister, Christina (Frank) Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Max, Mickey, and Shannon.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Home, 130 S. Main Street, Wilkinson, IN 46186. The graveside will begin at 1:30 p.m. at McCray Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Connie’s name may be gifted to the Alzheimer’s Association.
