Connie V. Shapiro, 71, of Anderson, passed away on November 13, 2022 at Countryside Manor Health & Living. Connie was born on July 31, 1951 in Noblesville, IN to the late Windfred and Marjorie (Haygood) Leach. She married her loving husband, Marc Shapiro, on April 25, 1983. Connie attended Pendleton High School and eventually moved to Anderson. Connie had a great love for animals and almost always had a furry friend in her home.
Connie will be dearly missed by her sister, Cathy D. (Jeanne Goodman) Leach; daughter, Miranda Chrisman; grandson, Bryce Gipson; and chosen family, Christopher Maddox, Melanie Greer, and Roxie Bartlett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Marc Shapiro.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses at Guardian Angels Hospice and Countryside Manor.
