Courtney Smith, 29, of Indianapolis passed away on May 22, 2022. She was born to Jeff & Tina Latham in Indianapolis on November 21, 1992. Courtney was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Courtney could light up any room she walked in without even having a smile on her face. Although, anytime you did see her she was always smiling ear to ear. A very loving person, always wanting to help the next person, and be the best version of herself.
Courtney was preceded in death by Norman Cuthbertson, Wayne Latham, and Maddie Newton.
Courtney is survived by Her Mother Tina Latham Father Jeff Latham Sisters Tiffany Smith and Savana Collier Brother Cory Latham, Her 3 children Ariah Smith Aubree Taylor and Greyson Johnson, Sister-in-law Shannon Latham, Brother-in-law Jon Collier, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and her 4 nieces.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 31st, 2022, at simplicity funeral& cremation care, 7520 Madison Ave, Indianapolis IN from 4 pm to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 1st, 2022, at 1pm with an hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

The Compassionate Friends is an international, non-denominational, grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Court was ALWAYS the shining bright light in any room. She wore her heart on her sleeve for EVERYONE even if hers was a little broken. She was strong, independent, a fighter, funny, beautiful, & such an amazing soul. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. I remember a night we went downtown and I let someone use my phone for a ride and they took off with it. She was so sweet and got me a new phone the next morning before we went boating. She would always give before asking for anything.
