DeWayne A. Jessup II, 46, of Anderson, passed away on July 14, 2022 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis after a long illness. DeWayne A. Jessup II, 46, of Anderson, passed away on July 14, 2022 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis after a long illness. He was born on March 23, 1976 in Muncie, to DeWayne and Sharon (Meagher) Jessup. DeWayne enjoyed bowling, painting, and detailing cars.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon (Meagher) Jessup of Mt. Summit; brothers, Perry (Pat) Bennett of Anderson, Paul Bennett of Middletown; sister, Cassandra Jessup of Anderson; aunts, Patty Dewey of Arizona, Paula Meagher of Mt Summit, Carol Padgett, Kathy Meagher of Anderson, Laura Sigler of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Connie Bodkin of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.
DeWayne was preceded in death by his father, DeWayne A. Jessup; grandparents, Paul and Betty Meagher, Omer and Ina Jessup; uncle, Brian Meagher and aunt, Lynn Ann Littrell.
There will be a private graveside at a later date. He will be laid to rest with his father at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
