Dorothy Evaline Schoettle, 91 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Homewood Healthcare, Lebanon, IN. She was born February 22, 1921 in Jackson, MI, Daughter of the late Ruben J Scheffel and the late Tressie Thorpe. She was a member of St Paul’s E&R Church. Dorothy was a homemaker, beautician, and office worker. She retired as an Office Worker for Weger Business Forms, Lansing, MI. Surviving are Son, John R (Jack) Schoettle of Jamestown , IN; Daughter, Janet (Douglas) Wall of Bonita Springs, FL, 6 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Schoettle, her brother Robert Scheffel, and 1 Great Grandchild. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation to your favorite charity.
