PENDLETON- Edith L. Miller, 95 of Pendleton, Indiana passed away September 8, 2016 at the Rawlins House in Pendleton.She was born July 1, 1921 in Milan, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles T. and Hazel (Lowe) Willis.Edith retired in 1966 from F.W. Woolworth in Anderson, Indiana. She was also a volunteer at the Crossville, Tennessee hospital and The Waters Nursing Home in Seymour, Indiana.She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seymour, Indiana.Survivors include sons, Kenneth L. Miller and Bill (Joanne) Miller; daughter, Karen (Tony) Schlegelmilch; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank H. Miller; sister, Thelma Rector; and brothers, Lowell T. Willis and Charles G. Willis.Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Michael Seaney officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Lahm Chapel.Memorial contributions may be made to Janus Developmental Services, Inc., 1555 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, IN 46062.
