Floris Evalene Morrison, 88 years old of New Ross, IN, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 25, 1923 in Lizton, IN, daughter of the late Estel and Gertha Bailey Ray. She was a member of the New Ross Christian Church and the American Legion Auxillary. She sold Stanley home products for over 40 years. Surviving are sons, Ron (Wanda) Morrison, and Cal (Lynda) Morrison, sisters, Charlene Alexander, and Phyllis Rader, grandchildren, Phyllis Morrison, Tammie Thacker, Carissa Bear, Kimberly Day, and Robert Morrison and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Morrison, son, Larry Morrison and brother, Donald Ray. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 12 noon-2:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the New Ross Cemetery.
