Gladys Jackson Funkhouser, 92 years old of Indianapolis, IN, died Monday, December 20, 2010 in Eagle Valley Meadows. She was born March 14, 1918 in Lebanon, IN, where she lived her entire life, daughter of the late Frank and Golda Jackson. She was a 1936 graduate of Advance High School. She was married in 1938 to Evan L. Funkhouser, who preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of Jamestown Christian Church. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Don and Carolyn Funkhouser of Indianapolis, granddaughter, Kelly Gulley and her 2 children Brandon and Brittany Gulley of Indianapolis, grandson, Kayle Funkhouser, his wife Carla and their 2 children Conner & Katie Funkhouser of Avon, and niece, Betty Osborn of Covington, IN. She was preceded in death by her sister, Octova Jackson Steward. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 22, 12:30-2:30 p.m. with service to follow at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana with John Nolan officiating.
