Grace M. Rice, 84, of Bradenton, FL, passed away Dec. 2, 2016, at Bradenton Health Care. Grace was born June 1, 1932, in Nashville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Joseph and May (Rybolt) Moore. She was married to William Rice on Sept. 6, 1958, in Howe, IN. Grace graduated from Brown County High School in 1950, and spent her life as a housewife caring for her 3 children. She also watched 2 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as they matured. She was a member of the Jamestown American Legion Auxillary Post 395, Hendricks County Forty & Eight LeFemmes, and also a Charter Member of the Nazarene Church in Nashville, Indiana. Survivors include her husband William K. Rice of Bradenton, FL; daughters Alice Bazzell of Bozeman, MT, and Debra (Tracy) Fryman of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren Craig (Bridget) Fryman and Sara (John) Pogorov; great-grandchildren Alexander Pogorov, Anna Pogorov, Vika Pogorov, Jenna Fryman, Leah Fryman, Nathaniel Fryman, and Paige Fryman; brother Grover Moore; and sisters Amanda (Mickey) Leinberger, Mable Hosford, Fern Sullivan, and Rachel Eiland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her son Kenneth W. Rice. Family and friends will gather Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. for a graveside memorial service at the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery, in Jamestown, IN.
