James Lowes, of Indianapolis died Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was 58 years old. James was born in Indianapolis to Charles R. and Peggy E. (Rockey) Lowes on July 2, 1964. He graduated from Franklin Central High School in 1982. After earning his master’s degree, he went on to work as a CPA for the secretary of state. James enjoyed helping make commercials with the Herbert Brothers as well as playing tennis, and baseball. He was always involved in some type of shenanigans and loved pulling pranks on others. He loved his Charlie Brown and Peanuts comics, cooking, and music, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
James is preceded in death by his mother Peggy E. Lowes, and brother Laurence E. Lowes. He is survived by his father, Charles R. Lowes; sister-in-law, Teri; nieces and nephews, Stacey, Sophie, Alexander, Anthony, and Haley, and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 1:00 pm at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 9950 Southeastern Ave. Indianapolis, 46239. Final arrangements are entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care.
