Janice Helen Levenhagen, was the youngest child of nine, born March 16, 1947.� Her parents were Lorenz and Hulda Levenhagen.�� She attended school at St. John Lutheran School and high school at Vincennes Lincoln.� In 1969, she gave birth to Emily.� In 1976, she married William Burkepile, and remained married for 38 years.� They lived in Little Rock, Arkansas area.� She was employed as an executive secretary in the President’s Office at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.� In 2014, she moved to Indianapolis to be closer to family. �She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Westfield, IN.� �Her four brothers and four sisters are, William (JoAnne) Levenhagen (both deceased), Charles (Shirley) Levenhagen of Oak Ridge, TN, Donald (Dorothy) Levenhagen of Fremont, NE, Arlen (Kay) Levenhagen (deceased), Judith (Richard) Woolsey of Danville, IN, Dorothy (James) Jones (both deceased), Linda (Charles) Canada of El Paso, TX, and Frederic (Joyce) Levenhagen of Carmel, IN.� Janice’s daughter, Emily Hoffman Vawter, lives in River Bend, OR.A memorial service will be held at 12 P.M. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Epiphany Lutheran Church,15605 Ditch Rd, Westfield, IN 46074. Friends and family may visit from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
