Janie was like a second mom to me growing up. Her house was right across the street and served as the popsicle paradise when I was a kid. I have such fond memories of spending so much time at Benny and Janie's house playing with Tasha and eating as many sweets and popsicles as we could handle. She was the sweetest person and most generous neighbor a anyone could ever ask for. She definitely made a huge impact on me and she will be absolutely missed.

Janie was a very special person, great neighbor, and friend. Our families grew up together along with her watching our youngest child, Michael. Michael never hesitated to go to Janie's for a popsicle or to play with Tasha. A memory of her was when she would say she just couldn't stand seeing Michael playing with a dirty face. She kept a good eye on him and Tasha. She will certainly be missed. I believe that not only was Janie a great gardener but she would always fluff her grass too. Love and prayers to the family. Love, Zona
