Jerry Lee Holloway, 80, passed away May 24, 2023.
He was born May 7, 1943, in Indianapolis, to the late, Milton & Marjorie (Copeland) Holloway. Jerry owned and operated H&H Appliance Center for over 40 years, along with H&H Rentals. He was known for his work ethic but when not working he enjoyed water sports at Lake Cumberland. He also enjoyed watching basketball and really enjoyed watching his grandson play basketball. Spending time with his family whether it was at cookouts, at the lake, or at home, was his favorite thing to do.
Jerry is survived by his former wife, the mother of his children, Sue (Deeter) Holloway; daughter, Kristine Holloway of Anderson; son, Jeremy Holloway of Fort Bragg, NC; brother, Terry (wife, Bonnie) Holloway of Mobile, Alabama; grandsons, BJ & Christopher Pierce, both of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Everlee, Brooklynn, & Aiden Pierce, Kasen & Mac Holloway; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindi Holloway-Eacret; brother, Ted Holloway; sisters, Cheryl Moon & Linda Holloway; and uncle, Tom Holloway.
Services will be at Noon Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Keith Wooden officiating.
Visitation will be from 10am until the time of services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
