Joanne Marie Hicks, 49 years old of , Indianapolis, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at St. Francis South Hospital. She was born September 14, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN, daughter of Lorris Leon and Willajean Grow Hicks. Surviving are sisters, Judy (Jerry) Prestel and Joy (Robert) Carr, brothers, Mike (Margaret) Hicks Robert (Linda) Hicks and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Lorris Leon Hicks. Friends will be received Saturday, December 10, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana. Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Vickie Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.
