John “Jack” Schimpf, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away November 19, 2014.� He was born August 2, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Franklin Charles and Malvania Elizabeth (Zweig) Schimpf.Survivors include his wife Madeline Taylor Schimpf; son Franklin C. Schimpf; daughter Jacqueline (Terry) Kriner; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews.He was employed 41 years by Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors.� Visitation will be 2:00 – 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 23 at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis.
