Jon E. Whitecotten 58, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday January 31, 2023, at the Roudebush VA Medical Center.
Jon was very patriotic and served his country well. Serving in the Indiana National Guard for 28 years. He was also a contract/Specialist the last 17 years. Jon was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Annette Richards Whitecotten, Three children Rachel Lindauer, Zachery (Amanda), and Matthew Whitecotten, and two brothers Frank (Alice) and Rick (Glenda) Whitecotten, and one sister Tona Cordell (David).
He was preceded in death by his Father Jim Cantwell and his Mother Alice Whitecotten.
A visitation will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A funeral will immediately follow the visitation.
He will be laid to rest with full Honors at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
