HUNTSVILLE- June L. (Harvey) DeShon, 84, of Huntsville, died January 24, 2023.

She was born October 11, 1938 in Pendleton and resided in Huntsville and Pendleton areas all her life.

June retired from Textron Excello Division, Pendleton following over 20 years of service.

She was a 1956 graduate of Pendleton High School and a member of Pendleton Church of God.

Survivors include her son, James G. (wife, Dee Ann) DeShon; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

June was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James D. DeShon; daughter, Joyce L. Jones; son-in-law, Greg Jones; parents, Edgar and Florence (Brown) Harvey; and 11 siblings.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Reverend Dennis Slack officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.

Visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
