Karen L. Dawson

Karen Dawson, 71, died unexpectedly May 16th 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Karen is survived by her husband, William Dawson; her daughter, Michelle Edwards; her grandson and his girlfriend, Allen Moyer and Emily Fischer; her grandson and his fiancé, Josh Moyer and Breanna Romine; her 3 great grandchildren; her sister, Kathie Stinger; her brother, Dave Price; her niece, Roxane Stinger; and her great niece Stephanie Sandlin. She is predeceased by her brother, Bill Price; her mom,Marylou Price; her father, Marion Price; and her sister-in-law Connie Price.

Karen was born on March 20th 1952 in Springfield, Illinois to Marion and Marylou. She graduated from Arsenal Technical high school. In 1971 she welcomed her only daughter Michelle, who was the most important part of her life.

Karen was a devoted family woman who would do anything for anyone in need. She often went by Myrtle to family and friends. She loved to watch hallmark movies, Nasar, and football. And she was always cheering on the Bears. She enjoyed spending time on the porch with her family telling stories and enjoying the warm weather.

Services will be held 2:00 Friday, May 19^th at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46142 with visitation from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.
