Kim (Stallings) PierceyA loving mother of Philip died peacefully on February 14, 2018 with her son, sister, and best friends of 47 years, “The Crew” at her side. She was 64.Kim was born on January 6, 1954 in Indianapolis IN. to her parents, Ruth and Horace Stallings. She moved to Greenwood in 1969 and graduated from Greenwood Community High school in 1972. Kim loved the beach, gardening, and most of all her family and friends. She worked as a Systems Analyst at Eli Lilly and Company for 30 years. Kim was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend.Kim is survived by her son, Philip Piercey; her brother, Hal Stallings (Kris), her sister Nikki (Stallings) Miller (Steve), and three grandchildren (Alexandra Piercey, Kathryn Piercey, and Michael Piercey). She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth (DeGarmo), father Horace (Stallings) and sister Tamara (Stallings) Myrtle (Bill).Kim will be buried in a private ceremony on February 24th, 2018 in Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial gathering will take place February 24th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street in Greenwood.
