Kissie Wheat, 65 years old of Indianapolis, IN, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 27, 1946 in Manchester, KY, daughter of Sammy and Lizzie Gregory Minton. Surviving are companion, James Saunders, sons, Tony (Darla) Boyden, Timothy Boyden, Jerry (Jacquelyn) Thomas, Jr. and John Thomas, daughter, Ronda Boyden, sisters, Esther Robinson, City (Jr) Hunt and Patty (Wayne) Burdine, brothers, Carl (Carol) Minton, Ford (Nancy) Minton, and Gilbert (Elaine) Minton, She was Grandma & Great-grandma to many children. Friends will be received Monday, September 26, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at 12:00 noon with Bob Eaton officiating.
