James Kyle Russell, 78 years old of North Salem, IN, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Brownsburg Meadows. He was born December 21, 1935 in West Virginia, son of the late Charlie and Eula (Stapleton) Russell. He married Mary Jane Nicely in 1955. She survives. He was a member of North Salem United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, Mike (Beth) Russell of North Salem and Lee (Cheryl) Russell of North Salem, daughters, Cheryl (Brian) Clark of Pittsboro and Theresa (Kyle) Goodnight of Pittsboro, brothers, Bob Russell of North Salem, Glenn (Jo) Russell of North Salem, Don (Betty) Russell of Jamestown, Chuck (Teresa) Russell of North Salem, Steve (Vickie) Russell of New Ross, sister, Betty (Bob) Fishback of Kentucky, grandchildren, Chas (Alissa) Russell of Pittsboro, Brianna Kushnir of Pittsboro, Jake Goodnight of Indianapolis, Jennifer Clark of Lizton, Christopher Forrest of Kingman, Chloee (Dan) Russell-Schaefer of North Salem, Jarred Russell of Kingman, step-grandchildren, Evan (Susie) Blackmore of Jamestown and Emily (Jeremiah) Collier of North Salem, great-grandchildren, Gracie, Cooper, Riley and Jaxson Russell, Hunter, Fynnlee and Hutch Schaefer, C.J. and Emma Kushnir and step great-grandchildren, Kameryn and Bryton Collier. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Jane Russell (Frank) Fishback, grandson Eric Goodnight and sister-in-law, Belva Russell. Family and friends will gather Friday, April 18, 2014 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the North Salem United Methodist Church, North Salem, IN. Services will be held at North Salem United Methodist Church, Saturday, April 19, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ann Spahr officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery.
