Lacinda Swinford, 69, of Anderson passed away on March 16, 2023 surrounded by her family. Lacinda was born on October 2, 1953 in Anderson to the late Lawrence and Deloris (Parker) Swinford. Lacinda worked for Community Hospital as a Transporter for a number of years. Lacinda loved gardening and working outside. She loved the holidays and spending those with her family. Most importantly, she loved her grandchildren and was fiercely protective of them.
Lacinda will be dearly missed by her children, Raymond (Tiffany Miller) Parks and Stacey Parks; grandchildren, Amber Adams, Jada Adams, Ryan Adams, Aries Miller, Aaron Miller, Austin Miller, and Dylan Parks; great-grandchild on the way, Lonnie Carson Davis IV; brothers, Richard Swinford and Steve Swinford; and sister, Sheila Geisinger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shawn Parks; and sisters, Sharon Webb and Fayrene Scott.
The visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson 46013.
