Laura May Wethington, 88 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Parkwood Health Care. She was born September 26, 1922 in Kentucky. Daughter of the late Otto F. Summers and the late Mary F. (Hicks) Summers. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting. Surviving are daughters: Phyllis (and the late Sherman) McKinney of Thorntown and Effie Inas Smith of Jamestown; Carolyn (Bob) Hudson, KY. son, David (and the late Karen) Wethington of Lebanon. Sisters Seleina McCandless of Indianapolis and Jean Warner of Indianapolis 34 Grandchildren, 96Great-Grandchildren, and 31 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wethington and son, Kenneth E. Wethington and 2 sisters and 2 brothers.. Friends will be received Saturday, July 16, from 4-8pm at Old Union Church 5681 South 500 West Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at Old Union Church, Saturday, July 17, 2011 at 2:00pm with Tim Andreanopoulos officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
