Linda L. Dawson, 75, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday September 30, 2018.Linda was born February 11, 1943 in Lebanon, IN, a daughter of the late Ralph and Jane Ann Bennington (Richey). Linda married Daniel Dawson in 1960, and then graduated from Lebanon High School in 1961.Linda enjoyed bird watching, collecting rocks, travelling and crochet. She loved her family and her friends, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Fayette, IN.She is survived by her children: Jeff Dawson of Indianapolis, Duane Dawson of Brownsburg and Sheila (John) Dremonas of Brownsburg; grandchildren Victoria Dawson, Amber McGuire and Ashley Dawson; brothers Charles (Linda) Bennington, Robert Bennington and Raymond Bennington; sisters Sharlene Grizzle, Patty Guard and Dorla (John) King; two great grandchilred David and Emily; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by husband Daniel Dawson, her parents and sisters: Betty, Mary, Virginia, Relda and Eileen.Family and friends will gather Friday October 5, 2018 for visitation from 10:30am until time of services at 1pm at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 7300 S. IN-267 Lebanon, IN 46052. Burial will immediately follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Boone County Cancer Society.
