Linda Shaw, 76, of Alexandria passed away on November 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on October 27, 1946 to the late Robert and Mary (Hinz) Klinefelter. Linda worked at General Motors as an Assembly Operator for many years. She loved her flower gardens, and soap operas. Many knew her as the “rummage queen”, because she loved a good rummage sale. Most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Linda will be dearly missed by her loving husband, David Shaw; daughters, Christine Geisinger, Kimberly Ramsey, and Michelle Bankson; step-children, Whitney Willard, Julie Shaw, Jennifer Johnson, and Alexander Shaw; grandchildren, Megan Lee, Tyler Geisinger, Justin Ramsey, Matthew Bankson, Miranda Bankson, Brooke Norton, Brandon Henry, Jordan Jackson, David Shaw, Samantha Bondurant, and Kalib Shaw; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sharon Hazelett.
The visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral ceremony will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be gifted to the ASPCA.
