Mary Marguerite Schoentrup, age 77, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 12, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis on October 30, 1944 to William Meyer and Marguerite (Wines) Mugleston, both of whom preceded her in death. Mary was a talented crafter her entire life. She loved making gifts for family and friends with ceramics, macrame, and even crochet.
She is survived by her daughter: Iraina (Jeff Haverstick) Robbins of Indianapolis; son: Dale Schoentrup of Indianapolis; sisters: Marva (Jim) Sutt of Florida, Michaelena (Terry) Lambert of Georgia, Billie (Michael) Thompson of Oklahoma, and Rena McAuliffe of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Ross, Paige, Joel, David, Brandon, Libby, and Maddie; as well as one great-granddaughter: Alisha Marie.
Mary is also preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Schoentrup; brother: Buddy Clyde Andrew Graston; and step-mother: Helen Meyer.
A celebration of life will be held on July 30th from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Acton United Methodist Church, 5650 Senour Road, Indianapolis, IN. 46239.
