Matilda F Norman, 95 years old of North Salem, IN, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Witham Hospital. She was born April 8, 1917 in Barnett’s Creek, Adair Co. KY, daughter of the late Walter W. Sapp and Laura Ann Tedder Sapp. She attended schools in Barnett’s Creek, KY and IUPUI. She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Theta Alpha Pi Sorority, and Jamestown CCC Club. She worked in farm management and as a homemaker. Surviving are sons, Ransal (Sandra) Moxley of North Salem and Jerry (Beth) Moxley of North Salem, daughter, Carol (Robert) Bramblett of Jamestown, 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild. She was married to Wyatt Moxley Feb.22, 1937 who passed away March 10, 1976, and then to J. Lewis Norman on January 17, 1981 who also preceeded her in death. She was also preceeded in death by 1 grandson, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Friends will be received Thursday, May 10, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Tony Hunley officiating. Interment will follow in the Jamestown IOOF cemetery.
