Mrs. Betty Elaine Hill

Betty Elaine Hill, 93, formerly of Wilkinson and New Castle, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of August 29, 2022.  She was born on December 15, 1928 in Pleasant Plains, Illinois, to the late Albert and Bernice (Brown) Kinnaman.

Betty retired from Butler Insurance Agency in Wilkinson, was a member of the New Castle United Methodist Church and an associate member of the Wilkinson United Methodist Church, former member of the Wilkinson Lilac Literary Club and Des Ami Extension Homemakers.  She loved singing in the choir, enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and cooking, but her real love was her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Marion (Marisol) Hill; Leah Jean (Rodney) Shelby; Patricia Elaine (Jim) Nawa; Ralph Edwin (Lucy) Hill; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 7 great- great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Hill, brothers; Russell and Albert Kinnaman and sister; Ruth Pilarski.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service in Wilkinson. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
