Patricia “Pat” Ann Smith, 87, of Zionsville, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023.
Pat was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 4, 1935, a daughter of the late Max and Francis (Wright) Glaze. She married Allen Smith on December 19, 1951, he preceded her in death in 2010.
She worked at Marsh Supermarket for over 10 years as a bookkeeper. She loved gardening, flowers, cooking and decorating cakes; but most of all she loved all her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children: Michael Smith, Vicki (Jeff) Tilford and Ken (Laura) Smith; grandchildren: Shannon (Jason) Cook, Mindy (Grant) Klinedinst, Kelly (Nathan) Ricer, Joe (Ashley) Smith, Julie (Neal) Griffith, Bryan Davenport, Mallory Loken and Rod Hendrickson; eighteen great grandchildren, sister: Judy (Lowell) Keith; brother: Ron (Leslie) Glaze. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter: Sherryl Davenport and daughter-in-law Linda Smith.
Services for family only will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 3pm at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 125 W. Sycamore St. Zionsville, IN 46077. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate.
