Patricia Ann (Pat) Wilson, 77 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Parkwood Healthcare Center. She was born October 7, 1933 in Boone County, daughter of the late Ernest V. and Dorothy Layton McDaniel. She married Richard M. “Denny” Wilson on January 9, 1953. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Jamestown Christian Church, where she taught kindergarten in the early 1960’s. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Beta Signa Psi. She worked as the athletic secretary for Western Boone High School, where she worked for 33 years. Pat was an avid Western Boone and IU fan. She loved attending all of her grandchildren’s activities. Surviving are her mother-in-law, Lois Wilson of Jamestown, sons, Richard M Wilson, Jr. of Jamestown, Jimmy V (Amy) Wilson of Danville, and Troy D (Trudie) Wilson of Jamestown, daughter, Cathy A (Rick) Whitlatch of Lebanon, sisters, Phyllis Cooper, Shirley Breedlove, and Carolyn Wilson, brother, Gary McDaniel, grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Jeremy Trent, T.J. and Breanna Wilson, Corey and Jared Wilson, Kayleigh (Johnny) Schmaltz, Sydney Henderson, Heather (Andy) Robison, and Joshua Whitlatch, and great-grandchildren, Lilah and Grady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Wilson, sister, Marilyn Copeland and granddaughter, Madison Wilson. Friends will be received Friday, April 1, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Harlan Kincade officiating. Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
