On Friday January 20, 2023, our beloved mother went to be with her Lord Jesus, losing her battle with cancer.
She was 79 years young. Born at home in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 22, 1943, to William and Leona Baker, she was the second youngest of her 5 siblings.
She is survived by her children James R. Osting Jr. (Kim), Pamela A. Gibson (Will), and David A. Osting, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grand-children, also many nieces, nephews and friends. Her sister Carol Loyal (James), brothers Billy Baker and Will Baker (Martha) survive her as well.
She was proceeded in death by her parents William and Leona Baker, sister Frieda Lyons, and brother Ronald Baker.
She loved dancing, fall trips to Brown County, Music, especially Christmas music and her hymns. More than anything she loved her family, her puppies and Jesus Christ.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 4pm-8p at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral and Cremation Services, 7602 Madison Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 11am, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 2pm at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229.
