Rebecca “Becky” D. Zagorski, 65, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She was born October 21, 1955 in Hartford City, Indiana then the family moved to Michigan before returning to the area in the 70’s. Becky graduated from Constantine High School in Michigan. She retired after 25 years as a librarian having worked for the Daleville High School & Yorktown Community Library. She was a lifelong learner, loving nature and to travel. She took great joy in gardening & cooking, but her family & friends were a special highlight for her. Becky is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Eugene Zagorski; children, Jessica Poertner, Jason (wife, Kortney) Zagorski, Ethan (wife, Breanna) Zagorski; three loving grandchildren, Eli, Easton, & Mason; sister, Ramona Coonce; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy M. (Dick) Norton; father & step-mother, Walter L. & Rosina Elliott; brother, Rodney Elliott. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am Tuesday, May 11, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Father David Hellmann officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
