Robert Ray Bennett

77 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away May 8, 2022. He was born June 23, 1944, in Columbus, Indiana to the late Ray & Ora Bennett. Bob was a member of the Mohawk United Methodist Church, Greenfield, Indiana. Bob loved to ride his motorcycle and was a member of Chapter C “Circle City Wings” of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. He worked and retired from Heritage Environmental Services after 29 years of service. Bob was preceded in death by his stepson, Kenneth Smith, siblings, Noble Bennett, Ruby Coop and Raymond Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Ramona L. Bennett; stepdaughter, Susan Petty; brother, Paul Bennett; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 12 from 10:00 – 12:00 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street Greenwood, Indiana with a service at 12:00pm. He will be laid to rest in Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus, Indiana.
