It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved angel, Shawn Avery Sedacki, who departed this world all too soon at the tender age of 2 days old. Though Shawn’s time with us was brief, the impact he made on our lives will forever be cherished.

Shawn Avery was born on May 18th, filling our lives with immeasurable joy and love from the very first moment. Despite his short time on Earth, he captured our hearts with his unique spirit and sassy personality. Even at such a tender age, he possessed an extraordinary charm that was felt by all.

Though Shawn Avery’s life was brief, it was filled with an abundance of love and adoration. He brought immense happiness to his family, aunts, uncles and grandparents, whose lives were forever changed by his presence. The bond he formed with those around him was nothing short of magical, as he effortlessly conveyed his affection through innocent gazes and gentle smiles.

Shawn Avery will forever be remembered for his vibrant spirit. Despite his youth, he taught us invaluable lessons about cherishing every moment and finding joy in even the simplest of things. His sassiness brought smiles to our faces during the brief time we had with him.

Although we mourn the loss of our precious Shawn Avery, we take solace in knowing that he is now in the arms of angels, watching over us from above. We find comfort in the belief that his short time on Earth was a gift, an opportunity for us to experience a love so pure and profound.

Shawn Avery is survived by his loving parents (Andrew and Angela Sedacki[Mazzon]) and siblings (Thomas, Victoria, and Andrea Sedacki) who adored him beyond measure. He also leaves behind his grandparents (Adam and Teresa Sedacki, and Franco Mazzon), aunts, uncles (Karen Sedacki and Daniel Gabriel, Juston and Amanda Sedacki, Alan and Rachel Sedacki, Richard and Elizabeth Aguayo, Erica Mazzon, and Anthony and Brandy Mazzon), countless cousins, and a host of family members and friends, all of whom will forever hold his memory dear to their hearts. Shawn Avery is also preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Mazzon (Johnsen).

In honor of Shawn Avery’s life, a private memorial service will be held to celebrate the joy he brought into our lives. We kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a donation to Riley Children’s Foundation a cause that was close to Shawn Avery’s heart.

Dear Shawn Avery, your time with us was far too short, but your impact will endure eternally. Your sassy spirit and the love you brought into our lives will forever be cherished. Rest peacefully, sweet angel, knowing that you were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

Shawn Avery’s beautiful smile, warmth, and love were felt by all. He was held and loved by family and enjoyed 2 AM talks with mommy and daddy. Shawn passed away peacefully in mommy and daddy’s arms wrapped in love.

We are planning a celebration of life for Shawn Avery Sedacki on June 2nd, 2023. The celebration of life will be held at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care – Avon. There will be a service at 1 PM following the visitation.
