Thomas C. Johnson, 92, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Tom was born on March 7, 1931, the son of the late Horace and Lillie Mae (Duncan) Johnson.
He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 20 for 70 years.
Survivors include his children: Johnny (Terri) Johnson and Thomas (Tammy) Johnson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Johnson, parents, children: Sherry Johnson, Timothy Johnson and Lisa Johnson; and his four brothers.
A private family service has been planned, followed by burial at Zionsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 8720 Castle Creek Pkwy E. Dr., Ste. #100, Indianapolis, IN 46250 or https://www.heart.org/. Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, Zionsville Chapel.
