“Dave” Truman David Cave, 77, passed away Friday September 2, 2022, in Pendleton, Indiana.
Dave was born in Anderson, Indiana to the late Alvin and Bell (Williams) Cave. Dave attended Anderson high school in his youth. And for all his life he drove a Semi-truck and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local 135. In Dave’s spare time he would love to go to auctions, go fishing, and most of all he loved telling jokes.
Dave is survived by his lovely wife of 59 years Joyce (Jones) Cave; his son, Alvin D. (Mishelle) “Shell” Cave; daughter, Evonnie “Onnie” Cave; grandchildren, Amanda Ellis, Brandon Hallowell, Clayton Cave, Seth Cave, and Shane Cave; and his 5 great grandsons. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother James Cave.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
A Celebration of Life will be taken place at a later date by the family.
