William Joseph Storm, 91 years old of Lizton, IN, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN, son of the late Burton L and Ethel C. Wood Storm. He married Concetta (Tina) Storm on February 2, 1950 in Naples, Italy. They were married for 61 years. She survives. He was a long time Hendricks County resident where he attended a one room school house in Danville, IN and graduated from Lizton High School in 1938. He also attended Purdue University. William was a loving husband and active father. He was a Little League coach for his boys teams as well as very active in scouting. He volunteered by delivering Meals on Wheels in Hendricks County. He was an avid gardner and his favorite place was the home he built in Lizton, IN After retiring from WABCO he repaired small appliances. He served in the U.S. Army in the Italian Theater during World War II. He was a member of New Brunswick Church of Christ and was a 50 year member of the Brownsburg Free Masons. Surviving are daughters, Rose Anna (Bill) Rollinson and Anna Maria Skudrovskis, sons, David (Sue) Storm and John (Mary) Storm, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday, September 29, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, IN, Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Coyle officiating.
