Mr. Charles David McKay

January 21, 1945 - February 3, 2018

Charles David McKay, 73, of Anderson, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018.He was born January 21, 1945, in Indianapolis to the late Raymond F. & Ruth (Simpson) McKay. Charles worked in retail for over 50 years before retiring. He was a member of the Huntsville Good Shepherd Church. He loved boating and was an avid skier. He also loved travelling in his RV, meeting new people, and woodworking, but above all loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rebecca Ann (Newcomb) McKay; children, Deborah (husband, Mark) Harris, Lorrie (husband, Patrick) Ruble, and Craig (wife, Julie) McKay; sister, Jenny (husband, Floyd) McClane; grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Jack, Phillip, Ian, Marley, Ashlee, & Charlee. He was blessed with wonderful sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Special friends that have touched his heart were Jo Yattaw, Jeff and Kristi Humble and Darrel and Helga Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his brother, William McKay. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Lahm Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Huntsville Good Shepherd Church, PO Box 45, Pendleton, IN 46064.
