Louisa Jane Pace, 92 years old of Danville, IN, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Hendricks Regional Health. She was born September 17, 1920 in Memphis, TN, daughter of the late Louis and the late Eleanor Patton Lumpkin. She married Wendell Pace in 1940 and they were married for 61 years. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was an active member and former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Louisa was an active church member in North Salem for many years. Mr. & Mrs. Pace owned Pace Furniture and Hardware store in North Salem for many years. She also worked in the North Salem School cafeteria for several years. Surviving are son, Richard Lee (Mary) Pace of Avon, daughter, Charlotte Ann Wilkens of Stevensville, MI, grandchildren, Eric Lee (Sherri) Pace of King George, VA and Brian Keith Pace of Fair Haven, NY, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Family and friends will be received at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana, Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 4:00-7:30 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Wednesday, June 26 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ann Spahr officiating.
