Jason Michael Rasener, 48, was freed from his Earthly Bonds and joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Friday April the 29th 2022. Jason was a congregant of The Cross Church in Greenwood Indiana and an active member of its Lamplighter Ministry. He was someone who was happy to share his story of Salvation and Forgiveness. During Jason’s life he was faced with, and overcame, great challenges. He loved Music, Sports & was also interested in the Paranormal as a member of the Phantom Tribe. Jason was born just after Christmas, December 28th 1973, in Indianapolis Indiana and moved around the country with his family growing up. He resided in Texas, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington before coming “Back Home Again In Indiana”. He graduated from Evergreen High School in Vancouver Washington and he served as a long time employee of Community South Hospital. Jason’s passing was preceded by the calling home of his Father Larry Marvin Rasener. He is survived by his Mother and Father Linda & Gary Shipp, his three Brothers Larry (Angie) Rasener, Ryan (Stephanie) Shipp, & Brandon (Jessica) Shipp, and his five Nephews Zak (19), James (7), Xander (5), Weston (3), & Bryson (1) amongst other bereaved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & Friends. Jason was a good man and we mourn his passing.
Viewing will be held Monday May 9th from 11:00 to 12:00 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Services 5950 Thompson Rd. A Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. He will be laid to rest joining other passed family members at Washington Park East Cemetery.
