Gwendolyn Ann Neel Lytle, 89, Born September 15, 1932, in Tulsa Oklahoma to A. H. Henry and Sarah B. Holmes Neel.
Ann entered into Eternal Life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully on June 11, 2022 with her family at her side.
Growing up in Oklahoma her entire youth on a farm and learning to milk cows, picking pecans, helping with all the farm animals and climbing trees were some of her favorite memories while she especially enjoyed her time attending church with family each week.
Ann had moved many times before ending up in Indianapolis, IN in 1963 where she raised her 4 children on the southside.
Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her joy of her life. She enjoyed the calls, visits and playing games with them all. Ann also had many dear close friends.
Ann graduated early and after and started office work at the young age of 17. After moving to Indianapolis, she worked for the Perry Township School System from 1969 and retiring in 1997 working as a Secretary/Treasurer.
She is preceded in death by parents A. H. Henry and Sarah B. Holmes Neel. her loving daughter Debra Mattax, brother Noel H. Neel and Sister Wanez Bunch.
She is survived by her sons Michael (Sue) Lytle, Duane (Sherri) Lytle and loving daughter Pam (John) Heckman.
Grandchildren Brittany Lytle (Josh), Brandon Lytle (Callie), Dustin Lytle, Chris Collins (Julie), Bethany (Andrew) Cook,
Tiffany Collins, Jessica (Tony) Adragna, Matt Lytle (Tiffany).
Great grandchildren Dominic Lytle, Xander Clemons, Elizabeth and Lydia Cook, Giovanni and Luciana Adragna and Schyler Fiebig.
Ann was a committed follower of Jesus. She faithfully and joyfully served in many areas of her church and especially enjoyed singing in the church choir. She left a legacy to her family of God’s amazing love and grace and was an example to all who knew her.
Services will be on Friday, June 17th, at Singleton & St. Pierre, 7602 Madison Avenue in Indianapolis from 10a-12p with the funeral immediately following the visitation.
Family kindly asks that masks be worn.
