Adam “Andy” Kyle

Adam “Andy” A. Kyle, age 83, passed away on Sunday, June 26^th, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born on July 10, 1938, in Glasgow, Scotland to Adam and Sarah Kyle.  He married Margaret “Dix” Dixon, and the two emigrated to Canada and then to Indianapolis, Indiana.  He worked for Banquet Dairy in Indianapolis, for 20 years, and for a family business, GK Optical in Greenwood, for 15 years.

Andy is survived by his sister, Sadie Usher, his Sister-in-Law Ellen McGee (Johnny), his brother-in-Law Phil McInnes, Nieces-Sandy Kyle, Sandra Usher, Jane Usher, Gillian (Craig) Lyngh, and Tracey (Don) McInnes, Nephews-Zachary (Mary) Kyle, John Kyle, Aaron (Jessica) Kyle, and Brandan Kyle.  He has many great nieces and nephews as well.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his Siblings: Elizabeth Sparks, George Kyle and Christine Doherty, his Nephews George Kyle Jr., Greg Kyle, and Sean Kyle, and his sister-in-Laws, Mary Kyle, and Margaret McInnes.

Andy loved soccer and was a huge fan of the Celtic Football Club in Scotland. He also was an avid Notre Dame fan.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and he  had a great sense of humor.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1^st at 1:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Greenwood, IN. 46142. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
