Catherine F. Keesling

Catherine F. Keesling, 97, of New Palestine, formerly of Knightstown, passed away February 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1925, in Brookville, Indiana the daughter of the late Clyde and Barbara (Pflum) Mahle. She attended St. Michaels Catholic School and graduated from Brookville High School in 1944, and was employed at Western Electric in Indianapolis before retirement. On August 10, 1946 she married Carlos E. Tribbey of Arlington, Indiana until his passing in 1974, and on April 22, 1978 Mrs. Tribbey married W. Gerald Keesling of Knightstown until his passing in 2004.

Survivors include her two children, Eric L. (Peg Kaiser) Tribbey and Carla (Robert) Lynch; two grandchildren, Bryan and Aaron Lynch; step daughters, Darlene Petry, Clara Donaldson, Bonnie (Ross) Manche, Vicki (Eddie) Witham; daughters-in-law, Jessie Keesling, Sara Keesling; stepson, Rex (Pam) Keesling, Daryl (Patti) Keesling; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands; grandchildren, Curt Lynch, Terry Gebhart, Debbie Bentley and Scott Donaldson; brother, Robert M. Mahle; stepdaughter, Colleen Jarvis; stepsons, Wilbur and Fredrick Keesling; sons-in-law, Malcolm Petry and Jerry Donaldson.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Wilkinson with Pastors Josh Keesling and Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown.

Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at the funeral home and will include Recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
