Rosalie I. Lynch, 82, passed away Wednesday morning, May 10, 2023. She was a long-time resident of Fishers.
She was born March 30, 1941 in Edinburgh, IN to Vance and Edith Phillips McIntosh. Survivors include her daughter, Rochelle (Michael) Hoffman of Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, Herb (Sheryl) McIntosh of Surprise, AZ, and Larry (Carol) McIntosh of Columbus, IN; and three grandchildren, Justin Parker, Maya Hoffman, and Katlyn Hoffman.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Edith McIntosh; daughter, Renee Parker; and sister, Janice Lacefield.
She was a graduate of Columbus High School.
Rosalie was the Executive Director of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association from 1985-2005.
Rosalie enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. She loved traveling to many fun destinations, both during her career and with family during retirement. Her positive and encouraging spirit was felt by all who knew her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching their many performances, taking them to get ice cream, and many adventurous car trips. She was their biggest fan in all things they did. She was an avid pet lover, finding companionship with any animal she ever met.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on June 11, 1-6 PM, at Singleton & St. Pierre Funeral Service, 7602 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis. She will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus.
