I worked in a department adjacent to Bernie's in the Indianapolis Public School system. Bernie was a smart, friendly and competent colleague. I was fortunate to share time, food and stories with her. She was a proud grandparent, showing off pictures of her new granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
