Bryan Edward Shepherd, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was 48 years old. Bryan was born in Indianapolis on December 3, 1970 to Grover and Marcia Shepherd. Bryan was a devoted Mason of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge and a faithful member of the Sahara Grotto. He was a hard working entrepreneur providing fire prevention to many businesses and residents. Bryans family and friends were his life, and he loved them very much. In addition to his parents, Bryan is preceded in death by his sister Tonya S. Shepherd. He is survived by his wife Karen A. Shepherd; daughter, MaLinda J. Wright; son in law, Brian J. Carruth; niece, Alexis B. Shepherd; grandchildren, Dylan C. Wright, Cody E. Wright, and Isabella A. Carruth. Funeral services for Bryan Shepherd are Friday, October 18 at 12:00 noon at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis 46227 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. A Masonic service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at West Newton Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care.
